FanDuel announces partnership with Basketball Champions League Americas

FanDuel has partnered with the Basketball Champions League (BCL) Americas.

As the Official Broadcasting Partner, FanDuel will televise and steam all of the BCL Americas’ games.

A total of 52 games will be accessible through FanDuel TV, the streaming service that operates as a broadly distributed linear cable network.

Carlos Alves, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Americas Executive Director, said: “We are very honoured and excited with the potential of this partnership.

“FanDuel is a strong brand in the US for sports, fantasy sports & online sportsbook which will allow for BCL Americas to tap into new audiences and opportunities.”

The BCL Americas tournament was founded in 2019 to replace the FIBA Americas League, and the winner progresses to the annual FIBA Intercontinental Cup.

The current tournament has a total of 12 teams from across seven different countries, including Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Nicaragua,online holdem Mexico, Venezuela and Brazil.

The reigning Intercontinental and BCL Americas champions, Franca, are one of three teams representing Brazil.

At the time of writing, the BCL Americas tournament is currently in its Group Stage phase, with three out of nine games played in each group.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the quarterfinals, which are scheduled for 4 March and will run for six days.

The Final Four placements will be held at some point in April 2024, with the exact dates to be announced in the future.

In other company news, FIBA has extended its partnership with Genius Sports until 2035.
